Kate is an Alexandria, Virginia documentary wedding photographer working throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, and wherever the party takes her. She photographs weddings, courthouse ceremonies, elopements, unions, and celebrations on both digital and film, with an approach that is candid, colorful, and centered on what the day actually felt like.

That means the nervous hands, champagne spills, weird little glances, friends losing their minds on the dance floor, and the people you truly love being fully themselves. Kate steps in with direction when it is needed, but she is not interested in turning a wedding day into eight hours of posing.
