You do not need to be good at having your photo taken
I hear this all the time:
“We’re awkward in photos.”
Great. Me too.
You do not need to know where to put your hands.
You do not need to practice smiling.
You definitely do not need to spend your wedding day performing an elaborate, photogenic version of yourselves.
My job is to pay attention…to the ridiculous laugh, the nervous hand squeeze, the friend doing something deeply questionable in the background, and all the little moments you didn’t realize were happening.
We’ll make a few portraits your family can frame.
Then you can get back to actually enjoying yourself while I photograph what the day felt like.
Awkward people are always welcome here, welcome to the club.
